Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 12 months
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with site services group to identify IPT needs and assist with technical details for project proposals.
- Perform changes in a lab environment prior to implementing in production environment.
- Assist onsite service technicians with installation and testing of hardware (phones, video endpoints, gateways)
- Preform necessary software/firmware upgrades on IPT infrastructure as needed
- Document changes, standard operation procedures, and assist lower level support with incident troubleshooting
- General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing. Work is conducted indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
Education Requirement(s):
- 8+ years of experience with IPT Cisco Call Manager, Unity Voicemail and Network design
Skill & Competency Requirements:
- Must possess superior technical design understanding and ideally hands-on productivity skills in the mandatory categories.
- Excellent Written and Oral communication skills.
- Experience with Cisco CUCM & CUC Infrastructure
- Experience with Cisco Voice Gateway configuration
- Ability to manage a large multi-cluster IPT environment
- West e911 server/environment
- Informacast configuration
- Verba Call Recording
- Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor software experience
- Cisco LAN configuration
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedure
- Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
- Effective performance management skills
- Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc., basic ability to use AutoCAD)
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
Preferences:
- Experience with Oracle Acme Packet SBCs preferred
- CCNA, CCNA-Collab or higher certifications preferred
